Publisher's summary

"I wouldn't be caught dead kissing you."

“Alex was always something else.”

Bank teller Thomas Riley is the youngest of three brothers, and the only single one. That's not to say nobody's interested.... His ex, hunky Alex, is back in town and wants to see him. But Alex nearly screwed up both of his brothers' lives, and Thomas isn't willing to forgive him easily. There's no way reigniting an old flame can work...right?

“I knew we still had chemistry.”

Moving back to your hometown isn't easy when your ex moves back, too - especially the one that got away. After getting on Thomas's bad side, private detective Alex Walker is determined to at least explain himself. He's not just looking to screw Thomas again. Then, on the ski trails, Thomas falls head over heels for him...more literally than Alex hoped. How can he prove he's trustworthy to the family after spying on both of Thomas's brothers?

“Is it becoming more?”

Becoming boyfriends is risky when Thomas just wants to get ahead in life and Alex is challenging his morals and his fears. If Alex wants to catch Thomas, this time, Alex will have to keep up and change his ways for good. And can Thomas overcome his own fears to come clean to everyone?

Swish is a steamy, stand-alone gay romance novel with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

Second-chance romance

This was a low-drama story about Thomas finally getting his HEA with his first boyfriend. While they both went their separate ways to work on reaching their dreams, their paths cross again as Alex is the one responsible for both of Riley’s brothers experiencing their own taste of drama. Fortunately the brothers are able to overcome the past to welcome Alex into their close family.

As always, Michael Dean has done a wonderful job bringing the story to life and is always a pleasure to listen to.

Another Amazing Riley Story

Thomas is the last single Riley brother and he wants what his brother have. Alex, Thomas's ex from high school who loved him and ran away is back in town. Years later and the chemistry is still as hot as ever. Alex wants to get to know Thomas again, but Thomas is not out to his family and tells Alex not to ask him out anymore. Thomas can't get Alex out of his mind and is tired of trying, despite trying to date other men. These two men have to not only fight their past, but also Thomas's fear of being out and Alex's depression and money problems.
This is another amazing book from the wonderful author Ed Davies. This story is not only well written, but funny and sexy as well. Its wonderful to see Thomas get his story and to see more of the other Riley brothers and their boyfriends. Michael Pauley is an great narrator and makes the story come to life with his voice. Great listen!!

Spectacular Second Chance Romance

I totally love this series and this story of Thomas and Alex is amazing! I love that they get a second chance at a relationship they they once kept hidden from everyone. Of course it isn’t easy since Thomas is still in the closet and his brothers don’t like Alex. It was great watching them overcome their obstacles and grow closer. Love seeing the couples from the other books and how they all interact.
Michael Pauley is totally amazing as a narrator and he nailed all of the characters and the story perfectly. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Magic

Book 3 in the Riley Brothers series is about youngest brother, Thomas. He's recently moved back to town and moved next door to his brothers. Working at a local bank, there are still a number of things Thomas hasn't shared with his family. And when his ex moves back, an ex who has had run-ins with both brothers, Thomas isn't sure he likes the fact that there is still chemistry between them.

And Alex has his own issues to prove to Thomas and his brothers.

Ed Davies magical writing and Michael Pauley's amazing narration really brings this book to life!

Another amazing E. Davies story

Here is the third installment of the Riley Brothers by E. Davies and narrated by Michael Pauley. The story is enough to make anyone swoon with the second chance romance but when you add the narration by Michael Pauley there is nothing like a story that these two can give you.

Thomas and Alex dated in high school. The relationship ended on less than friendly terms and years later when Alex and Thomas return to their home town at the same time there are certainly fireworks. Alex has investigated both Thomas's brother and the new boyfriend of his other brother.

Just when you think there may not be a way for the two of them to overcome the past transgressions Alex stands up for Thomas's loved ones and shows that he is no longer the man Thomas believed him to be. I loved watching these two reconnect regardless of all of the hurdles that stood in their way.

Swish is a must read and I highly recommend listening to the audio.

Michael Pauley gives this even more life

I absolutely loved this! The end of book 2 had me wondering who the heck Thomas was talking to. When I all of a sudden saw Alex's name, I thought "WHOA!!! I didn't see that coming!".

We finally see Thomas getting his happy ever after. He is such a quiet person, especially compared to his brothers. He struggled with finding personal happiness, and he closed himself off from finding it much by focusing on his professional happiness. Alex is a PI who has realized that he finally wants to settle down and have a relationship. He sees Thomas after a few years away, and finds the man he hasn't stopped thinking about. Thomas tried to stay away, but he couldn't either.

I liked finding out about Thomas and his history. I do wish I had more information about Alex's past. It refers a lot to being run out of Toronto, but we don't get a lot of details about that. I love the relationship between the brothers. You can tell they adore and love each other very much, and it is refreshing to read about positive family relationships.

There wasn't a ton of angst in this story. There was a bit of resolution for some characters from the first 2 books, and we get a glimpse at Floyd needing help from Alex. Maybe this is book 4? I'm looking forward to this, and am so glad that the series will continue!

I have to say that Michael Pauley breathes so much amazing life into this series. I love the stories of this series on its own, but Michael is soooooo good as a narrator. I will re-listen to this series so many times now that I have it.

Second chance at new love

I love Alex and Thomas. They are such a cute couple and they have lots of fun together. The chemistry is off the charts for these two and it’s so good to see that things can work out for these two. Despite the rocky start to the relationship and the conflicts with Thomas brothers they seem to have a good start at a forever thing. I love how the narrator gives all these guys such a unique voice and brings the passion to life. Such a good series.

Enjoyable

This was a fabulous job of weaving together their family relationships and ongoing plot through the whole series, while still giving each brother his own, unique story, personality, and relationship that was completely different than the others. The narration made this come to life... I enjoyed this audio
