Publisher's summary

Life's a party, and Roman White is determined to have a good time. As the youngest captain at his airline, he has to endure a little good-natured ribbing, but at least he has the perks of being a pilot: constant travel and four gold bars on his shoulder that help him find men in every town. When he tries commitment, he always overcommits and scares off boyfriends. Why bother settling down?

Oscar Brooks is at the top of his game. As a dancer, he’s constantly touring with a prestigious company and stretching himself to attract his directors’ eye for a leading role. Even his frenemy-with-benefits in the company can’t distract him from his goal...until everything goes wrong in a heartbeat and he has to rebuild his life. What is he supposed to do now?

Roman has a spare room, and Oscar needs a place to stay. It seems like a match made in heaven. Except the chemistry between them didn’t stop after they tried to get it out of their system...and the attraction is only getting worse. Even their friends are trying to keep them apart, afraid of what can happen when two free spirits collide. Will they break each other’s heart, or can they break out of their patterns and chase their dreams together?

Mr Slick has met his match !

Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes

Story comment: nice pace, engaging characters and an easy, entertaining story.
I like that both Roman and Oscar are independent, intelligent men who can still show vulnerabilities and they are both so delightfully awkward when talking to each other about their "feelings" 😂

Narrator comment: Greg Boudreaux's masterful performance works perfectly and brings the story and it's characters to life. His rhythm, changes in pitch, intonation's and the cadence of his voice all work perfectly to provide me with a completely immersible audio experience.

I'm diving into Dustin and Leo's story in Book 4.

And my heart became your dance floor

Oh wow, these books are so incredible that I don’t even know where to start. First of all, E. Davies and Greg Boudreaux combo?!?!?! Yes, please and give me more. You can listen any book in the series without following the order and you will fall in love with them. I like that they are very low-angst and feel-good listens. And E. Davies know how to write love scenes sizzling hot and crackling. I have listened the previous books in the series and I’m very happy to finally get Roman and Oscar’s story. The former is the life of the party and the latter, a workaholic. It was so fun to see them slowly moved towards their happy ending. And lastly, hello to that drop-dead-gorgeous cover! Me likey!!!

Hopeful Romantic Seeks Same

As a driven pilot Roman is a heart breaker with a boy in every port. As a career obsessed dancer Oliver is determined to climb to the top of his industry but when they meet through Roman's significant brother's new boyfriend sparks fly and set off a wildfire.

An injury to his knee threatens to end Oliver's career and when Roman offers use of his spare room until he can fully recuperate and get back on his feet. It's a sweet offer that catches Oliver off guard and places a seed of hope in an otherwise barren field of desire to belong truly with and to someone.

Roman is ever the hopeful romantic, he wants to find his other, the one that makes his heart sing and swell but all he manages is a series of hookups that while satisfying in the short term leaves him wanting in the long one. His willingness to help Oliver during his time of need creates an environment where both men begin to see the answer to their hearts most secret (or not so secret) want.

While a rival dancer and former lover seeks to destroy the career that Oliver has so desperately fought to achieve and the realization that perhaps that career is not as important as he once believed Roman is faced with a similar situation. He's the youngest pilot to be offered a long haul route. One that keeps him away from home and as he comes to realize it keeps him from what is truly important. Giving this hopeful relationship a chance to become something that he has always wanted but neither has ever hoped to make their own.

It's a sweet tale and you will love the journey. Greg Boudreaux is amazing as always and brings beautiful life to E.'s wonderful characters.

Sweet

This might be my favorite couple. So arrogant and sure yet kinda fumbling idiots too. Its a sweet addition with great narration. I only wish we got a little more of the friends.

Excellent connection between characters

Yet another amazing E. Davies book! I was really looking forward to Roman and Oscar getting together, because we could feel the attraction in the last book (Grasp). I was not disappointed. Both guys are free spirits and love-em-and-leave-em kind of guys, but we really see that deep down, Roman has always wanted more and Oscar has to come to terms with his dance life changing. Seeing the guys come together and finally communicate what they want was very satisfying. They both had a lot of growing up and soul searching to do, and it was nice to see that it wasn't rushed. Great book! Can't wait to read about the next brothers! Dustin needs some happiness in his life!

I listened to the audiobook version of this as a re-read and absolutely loved it. The narrator does such a great job with these characters, and I loved reliving their story. I would relisten and reread this series again.

I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC provided by the author

Slick and Sweet!

This is book 3 in the Significant Brothers series and can be read as a standalone.

𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑠 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑡𝑤𝑜 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑠𝑝𝑖𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑑𝑒?

Roman and Oscar are drawn to eachother and the chemistry between them sizzles and sparks. They tried to get it out of their system once. But their paths keeps crossing and their bodies keep colliding. They can't help it even though they know they aren't right for eachother.

Will they end up breaking eachother's hearts or can they find something more along the way?

This was a sweet, hot, opposites attract romance. This is a light read and low on the angst.

Greg Boudreaux did an amazing audio delivery!

Sweet romance

I liked it, this is a sweet romance between two men who are, somehow, blinded by who they were before and how that vision makes them distrust what they have now.

Roman and Oscar are both used to the fact that their life's style (one, a dancer; the other, an aeroplane pilot) kept them from having a relationship. Now that an injury has forced Oscar to stop travelling, and to accept Roman's offer to stay at his place until he can (literally) stand again in his two feet, things are changing between them.

It's sweet and romantic, with a very low level of angst, and very entertaining.

And Greg Boudreaux did a good job with the narration :)

Amazing

I absolutely adore The Significant Brothers! These guys are so amazing! This whole series is worth it and the story of Roman and Oscar doesn't disappoint. The story is light and full of love. Greg Boudreaux also does a great job. Easy to listen to and sure to become a favorite, just like the others. If you haven't read or listened to any of the others in the series, I highly recommend them!

Greg Boudreaux brings passion and love alive!

Greg Boudreaux brings passion and love alive!

Two passionate, driven, beautiful men discover love and possibilities in this awesome story. Story is so well written with wonderful character development, interjected with humor, low angst, and some really steamy encounters. i love these two complex but adorable men! Driven to pursue their dreams and then learning how to live with new realities and finding new dreams. This book is packed with so many heartfelt moments that you will not want to miss one page
.
Oscar and Roman were so well developed that i felt i knew them and was cheering for them to let down their guard with each other. Both men have created an exterior that keeps them from getting hurt, however inside they are vulnerable and good men. Life and fate bring them together initially through friends. I really loved watching them getting to the point were they wise enough to eventually learn to ask for what they really wanted.

i really enjoyed seeing their circle of friends that we met in books one and two. This book can be read as a stand alone, however you will find it so much richer if you read the first two. Highly recommend!
